Deja View: find the startups that already tried your idea
Someone built Deja View, a tool that takes any startup idea and researches its real predecessors: companies that tried the same thing before, when they launched, and when they shut down.
It exists because the builder kept discovering the same pattern, a "new" idea turning out to have three dead startups already behind it, usually days after getting attached to it. Now that research happens before the building starts, not after.
