An open-source sky camera that Claude Code sorts overnight
A 4K camera watches the sky 24/7 and keeps every frame on its owner's own disk. One Saturday night it caught 17 meteors, and Claude Code had every detection reviewed and sorted by morning.
Claude built the nightly workflow and accepts or rejects each hit. When the model kept mistaking stars for flying objects, Claude retrained it on approved detections: star false alarms fell from about half to 7%, and it still catches 90% of meteors. The project is open source and called openskycam.
