How AI squeezed Mario 64 onto a Game Boy Advance
A Super Mario 64 demake running on Game Boy Advance hardware: a 16.8 MHz ARM7 with no floating-point unit, four playable levels, software 3D and Mario animated with the game's own animation data. The creator picked the project and the trade-offs; Claude wrote the code, the tests and the tooling.
The repo ships nothing from Nintendo. An optional import reads your own ROM to build Mario's real model and level meshes, so the project stays free and MIT-licensed.
