How one person built this fishing game with $800 of AI
One solo developer is 11 weeks into Nightshoal, a fishing game with boat upgrades, quests, a prologue and three endings. Opus 5.5 wrote the code, ElevenLabs made the sound effects, Tripo built the characters and Blender MCP made the simpler 3D models.
Total spend so far is around 800 dollars, and the game is free to download. A manager session hands work to separate AI sessions for fishing, quests and shaders.
