How AI wrote this piano piece and animated the hands

Claude composed this piano piece, Ember Fountain, and then helped build the renderer that animates 3D hands playing it note for note. Feed it any MIDI file and a Python script turns it into hand and finger motion, Blender renders the frames and FluidSynth plays the audio.

The full video is 9,439 frames at 1080p and 60 fps, which took 6.5 hours on a single RTX 4060. It's free and open source.
