A planet-scale driving game that builds the world around you from public map data

A father and son built a driving game that generates the world around you from public mapping data. Hollywood Boulevard, downtown LA at night, a 50k-person town or a mountain road in Colorado: pick a place and the streets and buildings appear as you drive.

It started as a drivable map of their hometown. The developer has 20 years in geospatial software, and if enough people want it, a Steam page is next.
