How one head movement became a video game controller
Ben has a rare condition that took his walking, his speech and most of his movement, but he can still turn his head. His brother turned that one movement into a game controller, and this week built him three new games with Astra and Opus 5.5: a Mario Kart style racer, a 3D Angry Birds and a pet simulator.
Ben had not played anything like these in over a decade. The same head turn also drives a yes/no communication tablet, so one small movement now carries both games and conversation.
