How a Reddit motion video was made with only code
This 30 second, 60 fps motion graphics piece about Reddit has Snoo assembling itself, a 3D upvote with a karma counter, an r/place timelapse and a trending bar chart race. Claude Sonnet 5.5 made all of it with code: canvas frames drawn in headless Chrome, encoded with ffmpeg, with a synthesized soundtrack.
No After Effects, no stock footage, no video model. It took 14 sub-agents, 779 tool calls and about 2.4 hours, around $35 at API prices.
