This humanoid robot tidied a kitchen it had never seen
A Unitree G1 humanoid robot walks into a kitchen it has never seen. It explores the room once, builds a 3D map of where everything is, then tidies up on request, putting coffee bags on the island and throwing out used cartons.
The system is HomeBody from Stanford, an open source framework that lets GPT-6 Astra control humanoid robots. The robot remembers where objects are, so it can come back later and fetch things from vague requests.
