Why this AI short film only cost $29,575 to make
Filmmaker PJ Ace shot an entire AI-assisted short, Nexus Episode 4, for $29,575 and finished it in 10 days. The performances, lighting, and cinematography read like a studio production, not a solo passion project on a shoestring budget.
It's a real data point for how far an AI-assisted pipeline can stretch a small budget when the person running it already understands filmmaking craft.
