Why 100 Mechas Fight While Friends Share One Robot
A developer spent two months and roughly 3,000 prompts building Mecha Royale, a browser based battle royale with 100 giant mechas fighting across one massive map. The standout feature is squad mode, where multiple friends climb into the same mech, one person drives while teammates operate separate weapons.
Most of the multiplayer infrastructure was built with Claude Code, and the game is already playable free in the browser.
