Math Ninja turns equations into Fruit Ninja style slicing
Math Ninja is Fruit Ninja with the fruit replaced by answers. A target number sits at the top, answer bubbles drift up over an ink-wash landscape with a samurai on the cliff, and you slice the one that solves the equation. Miss and you lose a petal. Chain them and you get a MASTER HIT multiplier - the run in this clip goes from 1,491 to 6,613 points without the word "quiz" appearing anywhere.
It started because the builder's son was stuck on his times tables and flashcards weren't landing. Turning the drill into a game he wanted to beat his own score at did what the flashcards couldn't - he stopped noticing he was practising. Built nights and weekends with AI assistance on the level logic and difficulty curve, in SpriteKit, and shipped to the App Store. The part the builder didn't plan for: parents who installed it for their kids started opening it themselves as a morning warm-up.
