A tiny basketball hoop that lives in your MacBook notch
A developer who spends all day watching an AI agent write code built NotchBasket, a tiny basketball hoop that floats on top of your desktop over whatever you are doing. You flick the ball like a slingshot to shoot, with the score kept up in the MacBook notch.
He built the whole thing with Claude, including a days-long fight over the net until the model rewrote it as a real cloth simulation. The app is around 1 MB, no permissions, no network, free and open source, with a free-play mode and a 24-second shot-clock mode where buzzer-beaters count.
