Figure's F.03 robot climbed this ladder entirely on its own

Figure demoed its F.03 humanoid robot climbing a full metal ladder completely on its own, shifting its weight and finding each rung without any teleoperation. Climbing a ladder is deceptively hard for a robot, it demands whole-body balance and coordinated hand and foot placement at height.

Getting a bipedal robot up a ladder unassisted is a real milestone toward machines that can move through human workspaces built for people, not just flat factory floors.
