Hymotion 1.0

Open-source text-to-3D motion model with 200+ motion categories and production-ready exports

Hymotion 1.0 (also known as HY-Motion 1.0 or Hunyuan Motion 1.0) is Tencent's open-source, billion-parameter text-to-3D motion generation model released in December 2026. Built on a Diffusion Transformer (DiT) architecture with flow matching, it generates high-fidelity, smooth, and diverse 3D character animations from natural language descriptions. Trained on over 3,000 hours of diverse motion data covering 200+ motion categories including locomotion, sports, fitness, social interactions, and daily activities. The model employs a three-stage training paradigm: large-scale pretraining, high-quality fine-tuning with 400 hours of curated text-motion pairs, and reinforcement learning for physical plausibility. Supports standard 3D formats (FBX, BVH, GLTF) for seamless integration with Blender, Unity, and Unreal Engine. Available through web demo, open-source model weights on GitHub and Hugging Face, and API access.

1 Use clear, descriptive natural language prompts for best results
2 Specify motion details like speed, intensity, and style
3 Export in FBX format for Unity and Unreal Engine
4 Use BVH format for Blender and motion capture workflows
5 GLTF format works well for web-based 3D applications

Game Character Animation

Rapidly prototype character movements for game development without manual animation.

STEPS:
  1. Describe the desired character motion in natural language
  2. Generate animation using web demo or local deployment
  3. Review motion quality and physical plausibility
  4. Export in FBX or GLTF format
  5. Import into Unity or Unreal Engine
  6. Apply to character rigs and refine as needed

Film Animation Production

Streamline animation workflow by generating complex motion sequences from text.

STEPS:
  1. Break down animation requirements into motion descriptions
  2. Generate individual motion sequences
  3. Review and refine generated animations
  4. Export in BVH or FBX format for Blender or other 3D software
  5. Combine and edit sequences as needed
  6. Integrate into final animation pipeline

VR Character Interactions

Create realistic character animations for immersive VR experiences.

STEPS:
  1. Define interaction motions needed for VR scenarios
  2. Generate diverse motion sequences for different interactions
  3. Export animations in compatible formats
  4. Import into VR development platform
  5. Test and refine for immersive experience
  6. Optimize for real-time performance
